Not working right out of the box
After installing them I tested the lights before putting my car back together. The LED lights on the left light did not come on. It took a couple hours to take the car apart. If you get these just take the inner wheel well apart, pull the wire harness off the stock light and test the new lights before removing the bumper assembly. This is my daily driver so I’m waiting to see how long it will take to get a replacement sent out. I will change the stars based on new part and delivery time.

How do I fix this
I love the look of these lights, I have the LED tail lights as well, don’t know what the problem is, but when I step on the brake or use the them signals, the lights dim, and the right turn signal actuates…There is no help available from anyone

Wicked Awesome Lights
Yes, they ARE expensive, and they take some effort to install. The finished product, with the sequential turn signals and perfect beams is amazing. Zero regrets purchasing these units. With two of us (non-experts), it took about three hours to remove the old headlight assemblies and install these, because replacing the headlight assemblies required removal of the wheel well coverings (several clips), and removal of the bumper assembly. Keep track of bolts and screws, and it isn’t difficult. Regardless of the replacement headlight assemblies that one purchases, the labor is identical. Good YouTube out there.I will buy them again if I get another Corvette.

Really disappointed in these lights
Loved the look of when I installed them. The issue is they do not last at all. Less then 3 years later the lenses are fogged and yellowing. They are worse than my factory lights that lasted 12 years. I kept it in the shade or under cover most of the time. I also put a car cover on it when outside for a long period of time. I love the look of them and the brightness was great. Really upset because they do not last long at all. I can send better pictures in the daytime. These pictures do not sho how bad they are. They are not cheap and I would expect a lot better life out of these. I really hope they read this. I know one other person from cars and coffee that is having the same issue. His car is in a climate controlled garage. A lot of money for a short period of time.

Appearance Defects – At This Price?
I was hesitant to spend $1300 on a pair of aftermarket headlights.I love my Vette, and the thought of leaving her with those coat-peeling OEM headlights physically hurt me.Unfortunately, there are not a lot of options. Not wanting to risk buying used headlights that might have the same problem in a couple of years, I opted for these. They were probably intended to look great, but I can’t appreciate any greatness they might possess because I can’t get past the floating debris/artifacts on the inside of the lenses (see circled in the pictures; Very hard to take pictures of).The driver-side headlight is the worst offender with small, brightly colored pieces of debris in very central, noticeable areas. The passenger-side headlight is less egregious but still has some artifacts, albeit closer to the sides and places where your eyes don’t immediately travel.I really feel like I should return these, and I might. At the end of the day, I’m a person who likes to get a project over with and not let it languish. Maybe I’ll get to a point where I forget the headlights have defects and I won’t stare at them head-on too often. But if you’re the kind of person who’s especially bothered by appearance defects in your exorbitantly-priced aftermarket car parts, I’d caution you to just get your existing OEM headlamps professionally (or self) restored.I think the bigger question is should we even have to worry about problems like this at this price point? I’ve purchased several 3rd-party headlights for cars at 1/4 the price of these and never had defects. Makes me wish Spyder had something for Vettes.

Very nice, but don’t forget separate DRL wiring needed
Great looking upgrade to my C6. The instructions didn’t go into great detail about what you need to do if you want the use the DRL lights. It just list the names of the wires, but no step by step directions. I put everything back thinking the plug-n-play connector is all that’s needed and my test power up worked, but when I drove it my DRL never came on while driving. So I did some digging on the interwebs and discovered I needed to run a separate wire from fuse box to each light. So I had to take off the bumper once again, but once done everything worked as imagined.

These are very nice
I had my mechanic friend install these at his shop with a helper. Only took them about an hour, though they has to remove the bumper and fender they got them on very quickly. Follow the Directions for the running light. Once on they look beautiful! They look as nice as the lights on the newer models. Would highly recommend these. Individual replacement lights of the same style for the C6 are over $1200 each. These are a little over $1200 for the set. Very worth it.

Pricey but amazing, big upgrade from stock
On a C6 Corvette you have to disassemble lots of stuff to change headlights, not Morimoto’s fault at all just a pain in the neck. They look amazing though, so much better than stock and definitely better built than stock. Super nice.

A total different look at the road in front of you
I have to be at work before sunrise, so i’m driving the highway when it’s dark. I use to not like driving my corvette because of the head light out put. After changing the ballast, bulbs and cleaning the lens, it was a lot better, but when I put these in, all I can say is WOW! I now light up the entire highway as I drive down. You will not be disappointed if can get the money to purchase a set of these. WORTH EVERY PENNY Thank me later

Worked as advertised right out of the box
Came 4 days early from SELLER HKP INC. in Washington state, and ready to install in my C6 Corvette, the headlight assemblies gloss black floor looks great with the new Deep Space Wrap’s, black, dark blue and red hues, the light is the brightest and the inline yellow turn lights add color with a stair steep array of 6 sequential leds

Brighter and better looking than stock. The sequential turn signals add a distinctive touch. Very happy with the product. Easy to install just was a bit time consuming. The increased light output make a big difference at night.

Absolutely great lights, major upgrade to 2005 Chevrolet Corvertte
This change was absolutely worth every penny. The before and after appearance is a have to if you have a C6 Corvette… Wasn’t hard to install with a little patience, and like I said they made a big difference in appearance of my 2005 Chevrolet Corvette. Highly recommend and worth the jump. Many compliments.

These lights look GREAT!!
I am glad I spent the dough to get these Morimoto lights from Vette-Lights. They look 10x better, and the front end looks more agressive with the LED’s. I watched a couple of youtube vids on how to install, and am mechanically inclined, so I took a long Sunday to put them in. If you aren’t comfortable doing it, they can be installed by a body shop.

Morimoto for Corvette headlights 👍🏼👍🏼
These headlights make the car look new again! 2 negatives I have is that when you want to shut off the daytime running lights- it won’t let you like the stock headlights used to do. The second one is when connecting the wires to the fuse box under the hood. The wire is too thick to shut the fuse box cover. Other than that these are quite awesome!

Great product, looks amazing!
Great product if you have basic skills for working on cars it can be installed fairly easily. Doesn’t come with instructions to take the car apart or do much else. Though you can find videos on YouTube that talk you through the process and give tips on how to adjusts them during install as well as how to align them after. They are a great looking and definitely increase the viewing range at night. They are one of the most expensive headlight replacements for the c6 corvette. For the money you are getting the best looking option out there and seems to be one of the better quality ones available as well. So all in all you get what you pay for, not cheap but worth it to me.

Everything about these lights is great!
Due to there being other/cheaper options available, I hesitated on these for 6 months. I shouldn’t have, they are worth the money.Much brighter light output than the standard HID lights on the ‘vette. So much so that occasionally someone flashes their lights even though they are well aligned. They are stylish, and get great comments. They definitely give the older C6 a more updated look. Can you do them yourself? Yes, if you aren’t scared about pulling off the front bumper and loosening the side panels above the front tires. It’s not as bad as it sounds and there are several videos that show you how to do it. It took about 2 hours to finish the process, and you will need to use the bolts from the original lights with these. The videos describe all of that.

A must mod for any C6!
The biggest downfall on the C6 was it’s anemic looking headlights. Then came the C7, and wow, the best looking vette ever in my opinion🫡 The C7 headlight option for the C6 changed the whole look of my car! Aggressive and mean, it gave it the attitude to match the punch that it possessed! They are expensive, yes, but worth every penny! I no longer have that C6 vette, as I now have a C7, but that was the best visual mod that I did to the car!

High Quality, Durable, and Sexy
For the longest time, I was against this Corvette headlight assembly. After attempting to redo my original lenses, I broke down and bought these and I’m happy I did. They look incredible and get compliments everywhere.Yes, $1300 is a lot of money for headlights and I wish they were more affordable. Aftermarket headlight assemblies are limited on the C6 Corvette unfortunately.1. They look better installed than I expected. I’ve seen other photos and preferred the original look, but now that I have them, these blow the old ones away.2. They work perfectly. 100% LED with Bi-LED beams and sequential LED turn signals which are a nice modern touch.3. My car gets more looks everywhere I go, and people mistake it for a brand new model.I had my Morimoto headlight assembly covered with a clear PPF (paint protection film) to protect my investment from rock chips and bugs. I highly recommend this.

BUY! BUY! BUY!
The media could not be loaded.
With some mechanical inclination and basic hand tools anyone can install these in a few hours. I did not jack up my vehicle or take the front bumper or wheels off. This is truly a “plug and play” installation. Yes, they are PRICEY…But the build quality is solid and the packaging was top notch. Glad I finally made the decision to purchase them.

2005 C6 requires a lot more wiring and work.
Not plug and play for 2005 c6. Required several new wires to be ran. Huge headache. They stay on all the time. If the car is on….they are on.

The only ones worth the work of installing
These are truly plug and play.No doubt too expensive – would be nice if they at least offered something to reduce the cost – take my old ones for a few hundred bucks. It’s clear when looking at the options to replace / upgrade for other vehicles we are being gouged because we have sportscars.
