Piece of crap! Doesn’t fit!
Most of the adhesive tape was so old it did not stick to the part. But it didn’t really matter because no matter how well you place it down in place, the reverse gear shift button will not operate. Of course I might have been able to cut it down a touch around that reverse button, but you only know it won’t work once you get it in place and by removing it, it breaks. Wasted $100. I was hoping it would work as it is the only part I have found. How do they sell parts that just don’t fit?? They should be removed from Amazon. Do not buy this or any other part from this company. Very poor company!

Looks great and fits great
As with all Yipmotive products I have purchased for my C8 Convertible, this cover fit perfectly, and the look is phenomenal. A very nice addition. This cover is easy to install. I did find that the thin carbon fiber around the reverse lever seemed to rub slightly when going into reverse. The required thinness of the material around the lever makes it very hard for that portion of carbon fiber to adhere to the surface. All and all would highly recommend.

Perfect match
Looks great next to the OEM carbon fiber. Dry fit the product first to get an idea of how to place it. I recommend using a heat gun to warm the adhesive to make it easier to get the protective cover off. Be cautious and pull film off slowly otherwise it will pull the adhesive off the carbon fiber itself.

Terrible fitment edges cracked the pulled trans lever
I have purchased the entire interior of my car with this brand and everything else is perfect!!!! this part is notPull the trans lever and the piece cracked….had it for about 3 minutes

This product came in perfect packaging, attention to detail on point! It’s made from high-quality dry carbon fiber, which means it’s lighter and way cooler-looking than wet carbon fiber. Installing it on my car was a breeze, took me like 2 minutes tops. It seriously amps up my car’s appearance and makes it stand out big time. Definitely gonna recommend this to my C8 crew!

Not worth it
Had two problems with this product off the start. First it has little to no adhesive and second it doesn’t clear the reverse button. Ever time I hit reverse it would peel the peice off. Eventually it broke. 70 dollars to break with in 10mins. Save your money buy from another maker.

Very Nice Looking Addition
Overall it looks amazing, Completes the weird section that was always bothering me while that part wasn’t done already. The only issue is it’s a little snug and the drive button seems to stick a little bit, but it’s not that big a deal believe it will lessen overtime.

Fitment sucks, can’t even put car in reverse
So the carbon fiber overlay is too thick, even though it’s thin as heck. Seems this area needs a full replacement if you want to do carbon fiber. An overlay gets in the way of the reverse button, when you try to pull it back to put car in reverse the carbon overlay is in the way, causing the overlay bend upwards near the neutral button, and the adhesive to detach around that area.

I’m beyond thrilled with this carbon trim for the gear selector. It was packaged well and the adhesive is very good.Install Tip: If you slide it in from behind and add a little tension with your fingers to spread out the outside trim, it clears every gear without any issues.I’m super happy with how the carbon weave looks and the clear coat finish is spotless.

Poor quality with multiple pieces of Carbon Fiber
I have tried to use several pieces of carbon fiber for different areas of my car from this company but I have several issues with quality control. Issues I have had are dimpling, micro cracks, adhesive strips not lined up. With this piece there was a lip that caused my car lever to bind when trying to shift into reverse or drive. I’ve asked for a replacement for this item and it looked like a refurbished item. The adhesive pieces looked like it had been instilled, removed. I included a picture that shows a simpleton the finish and 2 micro cracks. I hoped that after I exchanged the first carbon piece they would have inspected the replacement piece. I have wasted a lot of time trying to make this work. I do not recommend this produce.

Almost 5 star!
Every button fit perfect except the reverse button. When I pulled the reverse button back, it catches the back edges causing a piece on the side to break. This item may need a lil trimming to exact the fit.
