C6 Corvette Grand Sport Pedal Commander Review
It does what it says. It gives you the functionality to change the throttle response on your vehicle. The GM car has a fly by wire throttle that is spongy and not very responsive. Pedal Commander eliminates this. I use the City setting which gives your vehicle the response of an “old school” throttle cable, with a 1:1 pedal-to-throttle ratio. It was an easy install, just follow the instructions. I have a 2012 C6 Grand Sport M6 with a semi built LS3. The car has a centrifugal supercharger, stage 2 cam, ARH headers, tune, MGW shifter box and short throw shifter and puts down 625 RWHP & 555 RWTQ. The Pedal Commander completes the car with the improved throttle response, it is even more of a blast to drive!

Fantastic Throttle Body Device
This device does exactly what it says it does. It removes the two to three tenths of a second mush out of my electronic accelerator on my 2021 C8. Very easy to install and only took about 10 minutes from start to finish. Four different driving modes with four different settings each. The Sport+ mode is really for track purposes only but I love the City and Sport Mode along with the ease of the app as well. I definitely recommend this product.

Easy to install. The app leaves some to be desired, it has to much advertising, we already bought the product but it’s mostly just advertising for the product that it’s controlling. The pedal commander does what it says and it is a drastic change from stock

WOW. Brought my vette to life!
This thing added CRAZY throttle response to my already quick C7. It also fixed some of the transmission lag that the cars are known for. More throttle = smoother shifts. Take a note, GM.

Good luck using this on anything over City Mode , especially if you manually shifting. Did it make the Z06 faster ? Ehh . Just more responsive. Install should be simple , but difficult on a corvette. Tight spaces and all

What I realized, is do not change settings while wheels are in motion, wait to your at a dead stop or it’ll throw a code. To reset, I turned car and PC off, then started again, code went away, everything back to normal. PC works awesome, major difference in throttle response

Works great for my C7 Z06 Corvette
Installed it in less than 1 minute after watching the install video for my car. I found “City” mode to be great for normal driving, “Sport” for spirited street driving. The “Sport+” was a little jumpy for the street but probably good for Road Courses made for racing. I only briefly tried Eco mode, but I could see that being good for Suburban/City traffic or long trips for the best gas mileage.The bluetooth app connected without any issues and making modes changes took only 1 second to switch. Adjustments can be made within each mode and that was easily accomplished as well.I did not buy the device on Amazon because I got 50 dollars cheaper due to a coupon used from the vendors actual site.

Problems Throttle can get stuck, scary if you have pedal to the floor.Throws limp code at times out of the blue. Why? If electrical connection becomes off by just a hair-throws limp code.To fix shut car off for a few minutes, and restart. but sometimes it can do it multiple times in the same day

Noticeably Nice Improvement.🤙
Added this to my Manual C6. It works as advertised. The feeling of the acceleration of the Sports Mode is very nice and improves Fun factor. Feels more zippy for sure, kind of like a factory Sports mode additional to an already Sporty Vette. Eco mode is also great. It provided me with 4 more MPG, now I’m right at 20MPG overall in City driving. Impressive. 30MPG+ on freeway. City mode I will try today. Sports + mode will have to be on a track or country Road. I tried it and I have to re learn how to drive the car. Super jumpy and almost unsafe for normal driving. Maybe Automatic would be smoother for Sports+? .. I recommend this and it looks very sleek velcro attached to the inner right side of the console. Easy to control with buttons, I did that at stop lights (at a complete stop) and feels sturdy attached. I’m happy.👍🙂🤙

you can immediately feel the difference..
The Pedal Commander actually feels different when in use. Installation was simple but not easy. I installed it on my C6 automatic Corvette. To begin with, the instructions were to scan the code on the included card..this did not work. A you tube video solved any questions as to the “how” but getting to the pedal assembly is an extremely hard and awkward thing to do. Removing the pedal assembly with a 13mm socket and small ratchet handle is definitely the way to go.This put the assembly in front of the drivers seat and installation of the Pedal Commander unit was a breeze. Re-installing the pedal assembly was easier than removal and once the loose cable was secured, it was ready to go. The various settings from Eco/City/Sport/Sport+ and associated settings have a noticeable affect on the throttle response.

Not happy with shipment by Amazon
Not happy with shipment by Amazon. Package was not in packaged box. They were key items like instructions for install that were missing. This is not on manufacture this is on Amazon. Order direct from pedal commander. Update: removed after pedal commander shorted out and shorted my pedal. Not only did it short it out, but 2 days before club ride. Had to drive 650 mile round trip for a new pedal. A few friends had problems with their pedal commander so I just chucked it up to experience and threw the dam thing behind the washer. Wish I could give it no stars

Defective and dangerous??
Why does my car idle go up while I’m parked if I go past sport +3?? Is it defective? If I put it in sport++ my car revs up to 3k rpms all by its self!!!??????I have an 08 base model c6 corvette.I bought it because a friend with a 2013 grand sport corvette has it and does not have this self revving problem….

To all true Corvette enthusiast, please do not install this product on your valued C8.
The price for the product is reasonable but putting a product on your valued C8 that throws services codes is not why a reasonable and prudent person would by a C8 or any vehicle. This product is not worth the money and frustration. Your C8 has mega power and placing something on the C8 that does not give more power, only jerkiness at take off is not why you purchased the C8 for right? Get rid of this thing quick before you destroy your beautiful baby (C8).

I would not recommend it
So it does fix the throttle lag. But it also has a negative effect on the performance. And the ap is virtually useless. So I would live with the lag which is what I’m going to do. I removed mine and threw it in the trash. Bye bye $400…
