What Makes Our GM MagneRide Shock & Ride Height Simulator Kit Different!
Electronic Strut Bypass Kit
These units safely silence dashboard warning lights and engine trouble codes that arise from installing non-electronic shocks on your GM vehicle. Save thousands and avoid the cost of replacing your original OEM electronic shocks by installing coilovers!
USA Made, USA Standards!
The M&P USA (Mods and Projects) electronic shock bypass is proudly made in the USA and we follow USA standards you can trust.
Please take the time to read some of our reviews. Sometimes, correcting the fault in your vehicle requires additional troubleshooting. If you continue to have problems with installation or operation of your active electronic strut bypass kit, we will work with you to troubleshoot your unique scenario to resolve the problem as quickly and cheaply as possible regardless of the issue.
Bypass Adapters that fit your OEM connection
Fits most 2013-2019 GM and Ford vehicles out-of-the-box. Please check your vehicle’s connector clip before purchasing. A universal adapter can be purchased for the cases where the clip connector is different from the connector on your vehicle.
Waterproof & durable connection!
Waterproof and durable! Manufactured with the OEM GM clip for ease of installation. Our kit comes with zip ties to secure the module to your frame or OEM wire harness. These will last the lifetime of the vehicle.
Verifying Plug & Play compatibility of our electronic strut bypass kit with your 2013-2019 vehicle
This kit is plug & play compatible with the following GM vehicles: 2013-2019 Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon Denali, Denali XL, Chevrolet Suburban, and Tahoe. (for older vehicles please check our other Amazon listing). Please refer to the compatibility image on the left. Check your original, active, electronic strut’s electronic connection. For a direct-fit, plug & play compatibility the connector should look like the connector on our electronic strut bypass module, if it looks different you will need to purchase a separate, inexpensive universal adapter (see our other listings).
Install the 3-pin ride height simulators first, then install 2-pin shock/ strut simulators!
Refer to the enclosed, detailed instructions for the full procedure!
Securing the electronic strut bypass module to your vehicle
Secure your ride height simulators by looping the included zip ties through the through-hole on the casing. Secure the Strut bypass units using the larger zip ties. A good location for this is the factory wiring harness. It’s already secured to the frame of your car via this clip right here. The best location will vary based on your vehicle, just find somewhere secure to zip tie the bypass in place.

Worked great
Had a challenging problem with my 2013 Cadillac Escalade….. Had a 3-in lift……. So the factory shocks had to be removed…….. Which in turn through a code and a warning on my dash saying to “service suspension system”…… And the vehicle would not go over 80 mph……. Adam set me up with the bypass kits…… He stood behind them and walked me through the process……. Very pleased, will buy again if needed….. Highly recommend….thank you Rich W.

Worked like a charm
By far the easiest fix I’ve made on my 2008 BMW 335xi.. took me longer to clean out the trunk to access the satellite module than it did to install. Part was shipped in just a few days and fit perfectly. I have radio again!

Great Products and Customer Service
The owner works with you until the solution is solved. Great guy. Thanks Adam. My vehicle is working like normal now. 2014 escalade lowered 4/6 with active working rear air ride. Took about 10 ignition cycles for the computer to learn the suspension was back to normal so the service suspension warning went away with no scan tool. Amazing!

Worked immediately, no issues with product
The bypass kit worked great. I plugged them in and immediately had the “service suspension” error go away.Getting the damn plug off the original suspension sensor was the hardest thing about this project! Even harder than replacing the actual shocks! The only “issue” I had with these bypass kit was that the provided zip tie that goes into the 3d-printed portion snapped very easily. If I could change one thing, I’d have that opening made a bit bigger so it could accommodate a heavier duty zip tie.

Worked great
Installed on 2018 gmc Sierra Denali 1500 with no issues besides having a hard time disconnecting the plugs from the sensors.Installed bilstein 4200s on the rear and purchased complete kyb shock assembly for the front. Performed suspension zero trim after and milliamp reading for each bypass module fluctuated from 10 to -10. Truck is very smooth now.

Works great, no fault codes
Was really worried once I read the instructions and they said it might take 40 key cycles to clear any codes, but put them in and everything works perfectly. Put these on my 2015 Denali so I could use some better aftermarket shocks.

No more error lights on my 2016 GMC sierra Denali… easy peezy!
My original shocks failed so I had to replace with another brand. The mechanic told me to get these and they apparently worked great clearing the error lights off the dash and clicked right in as advertised.

Absolute garbage
Received them with full suspension for under my Yukon. Does not work!! I didn’t install right away, so of course the return window closed 2 weeks ago and I’m out 100 bucks. Do yourself a favor and just buy $10 resistors.

Great for 2017 Tahoe Premier
Replaced magnetic ride BS on front with regular strut. Used a plug In module to prevent codes. Worked fine for about 6wks. Then all of a sudden the service suspension message appeared again. So, I tried these and they worked great. As a word of advice, I removed the height ride sensors under the wheel well temporarily to make it easier to get to the plug. Took about 20 mins to do complete job. My next car will not have the Over engineered magnetic ride rubbish..

Best FIX on the market…
M&P USA Magnaride shock bypass is the best fix so far! Easy install and in my case no need to have dealership reset the codes. Simple Plug and Play to remove the “Service Suspension” warning on a 2015 Tahoe LTZ. Also it restored the speed limiter (activated when Service Suspension warning is current) no more cut off at 85MPH not that I drive 100 or so that would be illegal… wink-wink… Very easy install and as soon as I started the vehicle the warning went away. Highly Recommend this company and their products.

Absolute Perfect!!! A must Buy!!!
Did a lot of research trying to get away from the factory GM Magneride junk suspension! Factory OEM suspension does not last and is super expensive and you will be replacing your shocks and struts every few years. Buy something other then factory/OEM suspension and install these! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! And this is the only company you want to deal with! Worked perfect! Top Quality built in the USA not China junk. Reached out to customer service with them super informative and helpful. Don’t deal with anyone else! Will be recommending to everyone I know. Problems fixed and way cheaper!

Works for the magnaride but not rear air ride
Installed these on a 2015 tahoe. They worked good to replace the front magna ride so I ordered two more to delete the rear air ride. Installed on the rear and I get a service suspension system. Maybe the rears are bad? Idk

No more warning lights on my 2015 escalade
I removed the original magneride I suspension from my 2015 Escalade and was getting lights on the dashboard since my truck had both ride height sensors AND the original connections to the strut I needed to bypass all of them, these did the trick, no cutting, they clicked right in!

2020 Tahoe
Worked great on my 2020 Tahoe! I had a blown magnaride shock and we decided to ditch them for standard struts that would also level it and these kept the system from throwing a suspension fault ever start up. I’ve only had it go off twice while driving but I was taking a sharp s curve at speed when it happened so it may have been due to that, otherwise it doesn’t throw a fault warning.

Excellent product and after-sales support!
The resistors worked perfectly and prevented DTC codes. I had a question related to the other parts of a suspension swap and put in a question on the manufacturer website. In under 24 hours I got a text from the owner who answered my unrelated question and made sure everything worked well with the magneride bypass. Excellent service and a great product. So glad I went with them instead of a competitor.

Service suspension light still comes on
This was a easy install on my 2018 Escalade. Item came with clear directions. I am a ASE master tech and do read directions well so I can assure you the install was done per the directions and I took other precautions due to Michigan weather. That being said, the service suspension light comes on at least once every trip. I didn’t have that issue before I just didn’t like the ride anymore and didn’t want to pay for magna ride struts.

It actually works!
I had a previous set up inside my vehicle when bought and I guess they went bad. I kept getting the suspension system messege and didn’t know why and didn’t like the fact that I could only go a certain speed on the highway. Purchased these and just like it says plug and play it worked as advertised. You might have to start your vehicle a couple times for them to register but after that it will work with no issues. I only needed the front for my vehicle (2015 Chevy Tahoe LTZ).

Works great with no codes on dash
The height adjust simulators and shock simulators allow the Magneride shocks & height bracket & rods to be removed with no error codes on instrument panel. But the shock simulators had little lock nibs that broke instantly, so to keep them from disconnected and landing on the highway I had to put gorilla tape around them. They need to have better locking method.

As long as you are somewhat mechanical minded the installation was simple and saved hundreds of dollars. Kit came with everything needed, I only used a little WD40 to lubricate the connections.

I’d give these 5 stars but I’ve had my “check suspension” light come on a few times since Install.Otherwise they’ve took care of the issue when I converted our 2016 LTZ Tahoe to a regular front and rear suspension.

Great product, better customer support
The parts are very high quality and fit perfectly in the factory wiring harness plugs. The construction was high quality and well thought out. But the customer support was beyond all expectations. Adam answered the phone on the weekend, discussed some issues I was having and made some suggestions. I finally determined one of the parts was bad and he immediately send a replacement set. I replaced the bad one and the warning cleared on the next engine start! Excellent communication via voice and text, I would recommend the products and especially the company number 1.

This is a “must have” if you care to ditch the Magneride. And priced right too.
Mag shocks and struts took a dump. Very expensive to replace, Went with a set of Bilsteins and these over ride modules. Not only is the ride and handling back but I swear this car runs better too. Imagination? Don’t care. My Camaro runs and rides Great.

Worked exactly as advertised. I installed these on my 2015 gmc Denali bc the mag ride shocks were so $$. I went with standard loaded shocks from Monroe. The great ride is back. Be sure once installed to auto lvl the vehicle with a code scanner. I would recommend this product

Does the job
Installed around 2 weeks ago when I put my Pedders coilovers on the rear for now. I only used the MagRide delete so far, as I left the ride height sensors alone for now.I started the car up and no CEL or anything has come on. So they do work.I’m most likely gonna end up putting the ride height delete ones in, because twice so far I’ve randomly gotten the “Service Suspension System” message, which I’ve gotten before for the ride height sensors being messed up.

Top NOTCH customer service
Product works as advertised. Used a kit from another company that apparently didn’t work. I was most impressed by the customer service. We had a couple of questions & the seller was easy to contact & we were able to speak directly with him, personally. He figured out our issue & went above & beyond to help us resolve it, even though the issue was not on his end. Hands down, the best customer service I have ever encountered.

Great product, excellent customer care.
This is why made and serviced in the USA makes a difference. I bought 2 sets and had an issue with one of them. I sent in a comment on my issue and was immediately answered. My issue was solved within 10 minutes and a new set was expedited to me to make my install deadline. A very behind the scenes product as if it works, nothing happens, in the way of a light or code stating a suspension issue. The front and back set are working perfectly with no codes or lights. I HIGHLY recommend these deletes. Fit was perfect. Thanks very much to Adam, who may own the company, but was super responsive and solved my issue above and beyond expectations!
