Great buy!
Spent more time trying to get the rusted skid plate bolts off than it too to install these cats. No more check engine light or codes, the Jeep runs better and has more power. Pretty good deal when you consider these cats are less than half the price of the Mopar OEMs. Lastly, I know lots of people are wondering if these have the mandrel bends or the crimped. Mine arrived with mandrel bends. I’m no exhaust specialist, but I’m given to understand that mandrel bends provide better flow & performance, so I suppose that’s another plus for this purchase.

Good quality, needed a little adjustment
The exhaust is of good quality. However, I needed to “adjust” the fitment. Not crazy, but had to move the one cat a little towards the other to seat properly. The exhaust is not mandrel bent, nor is it advertised as such. If you zoom in on the picture, you will see that it is a compression bend.

Legit
Product looks just like the photo, well built, quality welds. Had to make some minor adjustments but my jeep is heavily modified so that’s to be expected. Note, the welds have a temporary clear coat to prevent rust so it will smoke and smell a little when you first fire it up until the clear coat burns off, nothing to worry about though.

2000 Jeep Wrangler. Good quality.
Good quality but not perfect. Had to tweak it a little but considering the cost of the alternative this is not a big deal.

Worked PERFECTLY
Was nervous about ordering because I saw some people got the ribbed version. I got the mandrel bent product from flow master and it is awesome. Installed without a single issue and most importantly my CEL is gone. Dealer wanted $1200 for the mopar brand. This is a third of the price!! Was installed on a 2006 Jeep TJ Unlimited (LJ) Rubicon.

Good fit
Good fit for my 05 Rubicon 4.0L… although I did have to remove the heat shield and trim down the flanges on the body of the cat to clear some of the components to prevent rattling.

Great for 06 TJ
The price was great and shipping was fast. It looks good with all Mandrel bends. Did not come with any hardware.

So far so good
After Reading the reviews I fully expect to get a wrinkle bent System but was actually surprised all the quality of the welds and the bends for the price, came packaged well with all required pieces. Will update review once installed.

Good stuff, fraction of the cost elsewhere too
Great quality. The one I received was mandrel bent (contrary to other reviews)No bending needed, simple bolt on installationOrdered Nov. 2020. If I get any check engine lights I’ll update the review, but I’m please with everything so far

Awesome product
Awesome product, my wrangler recently had a engine light For code P2096 and was getting horrible gas mileage while having a hard time accelerating. After switching to this catalytic converter the jeep sounds, accelerates and drives so much better. You won’t regret this purchase!

2003 Wrangler
This restored the factory quiet sound and vastly improved the running and performance of my Jeep. Highly recommend this one. I did have to weld in a downstream bung for my O2 sensor on my Jeep which is spec’d for the middle east. Buy with confidence.

Replacement for bad cats, P0431, P0432
Went right in, a little awkward by yourself, but can be done with patience. Buy new nutserts and bolts with thick flat washers to make the job right. Nice piece overall.

Bad packaging
The box arrived open and the sharp end of the converter was protruding out of the box and was dented. We had to hammer out the dents before we could install.

My first Flowmaster purchase
Very well constructed product with smooth mandrel bends. The driver side is a bit too close to the transmission. I’m overall happy with the quality. They bolted right up to my new Banks headers. My jeep now has a nice throaty sound.

Perfect fit!
I dont know what issues those reviewers who say this unit did not fit right were having, but mine is a perfect fit. No issues at all. Went right on no modifications or issues.

Fits 2006 like a dream.
Had little to no trouble getting a socket on the bolt to reinstall. Seems the cats may be orientated slightly better than stock.

Not bad for price
Price is good and pre-cats fit up great. Post cat support hanger was on backwards so I had to cut it of and re-weld in right location.

Not as pictured
Item direct ships from manufacturer and has crinkle bends not mandrel bent. The website even calls it out even though it is shown differently. Don’t order unless you are ok with that

Perfect fit, easy installation, works great! No leaks! Engine power restored
I installed this on my 06 jeep wrangler rubicon and it fit like original. This is a quality, mandrel bent assembly that bolted in place with little effort. I replaced all four O2 sensors and now my jeep runs better than ever! Good product for the money.

Perfect fit on 2006 Wrangler Sport
Took care of my 2 codes and runs better. Exactly as pictured. Mine was sourced directly from Amazon, so I’m guessing those getting crinkle bend versions and the hanger being backwards may be coming from a marketplace seller instead of Amazon directly.Hardest part of the install was dealing with the skid plate by myself and getting the old one off, dealing with seized bolts on the rear cat flange. Used a sawsall to cut the bolts and replaced with new ones after drilling them out. Very happy with the quality of the product for the price.

Quality product at a reasonable price.
The unit I got was mandrel bent throughout. The other people who didn’t get the mandrel bent maybe got someones returns. I certainly wouldn’t install a product that doesn’t match the pictures as well as the descriptions. Fit was perfect. Mine was missing the clamp but that didn’t matter to me as it’s not pictured and I weld my connections anyway. If you have a TJ and need new cat’s this is a winner.Update: Anyone who gets a crimp bend like this should return it. It’s not Flowmaster. THey ahve never made this part with the crimp bends. Never. It’s a chinese knockoff.

Excellent value compared to OEM parts
The pipe and converter fit good, except for the secondary converter’s bar support that goes on the transmission mount, as for some reason it was pointing the wrong way… So we cut it off, and re-welded it in place which was easy to do. Not sure why this was the case, but when looking up the fitment, some places said that it would fit TJ Wranglers from 2000 to 2006, and FlowMaster listed 2004 to 2006… Other than that small adjustment, everything fit perfectly… Value wise, this was much cheaper than OEM or other brands that I looked at, OEM was $1200.00 not including the secondary converter, most other brands were $700.00-$800.00, so this was much cheaper including purchasing new manifold bolts and cost of labor… This should also be the last time I replace it, as the original on my 2000 Wrangler TJ lasted 20 years before it rusted out at the welded seams on the two converters by the manifold, and I have expectations that this one should last just as long…

Connecting hardware?
The item didn’t come with bolts. As I haven’t started the replacement work yet, I don’t know if I should purchase new bolts.

2005 Rubicon Perfect Fit!
Fit is perfect on my 2005 Rubicon. Others have mentioned clearance issues at the front drive shaft, however I have a lift so clearance was not an issue. Removing the 4 bolts off old mini cats and bolting up new mini cats is very tedious due to tight working space. This requires good lighting and combination of ujoint on multiple extensions with 15 mm socket and liberal amounts of penetrating oil. An extra set of hands will really help to line everything up. Also, the flange holes on the Flowmaster cats are larger and will require use of washers. Happy with this product, definitely runs better as old cats were clogged, hope this helps.

Right now it looks like they are mandrel bending them again
Legit Flowmaster product — was drop shipped directly from Holley. Box was thin and intake pipe for downstream converter was out-of-round from being dropped. That led to some difficulty fitting the pipe to the ‘Y’ pipe, and there is a small exhaust leak at the joint. Otherwise quality appears A+, and this item (shipped July 2021) has mandrel bends instead of the cheaper compression bends — though even Flowmaster/Holley advertise this ‘Standard Grade’ part number as being compression bent.

Perfect
2006 LJ Rubicon- Mine came without any hardware, but I didn’t need any. I had to loosen and lower the skid plate a couple of inches to get to 1 but. I reused the bolts/nuts that I took off, and I welded the joint. It fits perfectly, but I found it helpful to have a second person to help get it straight and check clearances. Mine had smooth bends, and I did not have the 02 sensor problem that others have mentioned.

Works on 2001 TJ (with minor mod)
Installed on a 2001 TJ without issue. The only difference with this 04-06 and 00-03 cat setup is where the front and rear cats meet (bolt flange on the 00-03) and position if the rear cat hanger (hanger is below the cat on 00-03 and above the car on 04-06). If you are trying to replace replace only the front cat on your 00-03 this product will not be a different fit due to the bolt flange needed. If you are replacing both front and rear cats like I did, this product works perfectly outside if the rear cat hanger. I plan to cut the hanger off and weld it in the correct place. For the price and quality this is only a minor inconvenience.Oh and mine were mandrel bent as pictured so no complaints there.

Easy to install, I’d recommend buying new bolts for it.
I like that I got the same product like it the picture and not compresses bent. What I didn’t like is that the third catalyst converter had the metal support or stick on the wrong side, if you’re a welder you could fix it, but I’m not and that part didn’t fit on my 01 Jeep Wrangler 4.0. It’s a little noisy but it’s not like straight pipe sound.

Does not fit Rubicon.
It is not mandrel bent as the picture shows, but worse is that on the Rubicon model the front u-joint hits it. The bend around the oil pan is not the same as stock.

If you’re not ready to do what I did, send it back.
It wasn’t like the one pictured, but it will work. The hanger for the converter was on the top instead of the bottom. I cut it off and welded it on correctly. The cheap clamp leaked around the ubolt and had to be welded to stop the leak. Walker has definitely lost their quality.

Horrible product only lasted 6 months
First of all like everyone else mine isnt smooth bent. My main problem is i have had this one 6 months. Car is in the shop again with bad cats. Definitely not a good product if i only have 6 months of use before its bad. Unfortunately only had a 1 month return window. Personally i think the return window should be longer. Dont buy it did fit my jeep but isnt a quality product, should last more than 6 months.

Doesn’t fit correctly, I would recommend not buying.
Installed this on my 2000 TJ, it says that it fits and technically it does…. as long as you don’t plan on any articulation. Literally 1/2″ between my exhaust and my driveshaft. As well as the hanger on the 3rd Cat was welded in the wrong spot. I didn’t realize the exhaust was that close to the driveshaft until long after the install near the end of my engine rebuild when I went to put the driveshaft back in.

Flop Master
Fitment is terrible when bolted on, shop had to figure out how to clear drive shaft..still has contact. Labor cost exceeded the cost of the part and we still do not have a solution to the poor fitment. If I could get my money back I would, but I’ve lost confidence and hundred of dollars..One word sums up the purchase…regret

Not a easy fit
Secondary cat did not even cone close to fitting on exhaust mount and muffler flange was not clocked correctly when welded. Mount had to be re welded to correct location and the muffler flange had to be cut and rotates

Part fit 2005 Jeep TJ 4.0, but….
I am sure the part will fit a 2005 Jeep TJ 4.0, but…. As seen in the picture I uploaded, the part I received has wrinkled compression bends. The photo of the part in the listing shows a higher quality mandrel bent part. I returned the misrepresented part. Being this was drop shipped from Flowmaster/Holley directly I now wonder why a company known for the highest quality manufacturing standards and product reputation is now shipping out 2nd tier goods. Bummer

Interferes with D44 Rubicon axels
Got the product, mandrel bent as the pictures indicate. However, I put the cats on, situated them nicely out of the way and then hit the brakes hard and heard the pinion of my front axel contact the front cat downpipes.I tried to push it as far over from the motor but looks like I will need to heat and bend the tubes away from the pinion.Probably works good for the dana 30s but I have a stock TJ rubicion with a D44 front and this doesn’t clear it.
